Saida Abdirahman, the 20 year old girl who was kidnapped in Mombasa, and found yesterday in Majengo area in Nairobi lost her 8 month pregnancy during her captivity. Doctors confirmed the loss and said she was drugged. Saida was reported to have been bleeding profusely when she was rescued by the muslim women at the mosque in Majengo who later called the police. She was later rushed to Radiant hospital by the police for treatment. The doctors confirmed that her psychological health was not steady due to the torture that she endured. The family flew her to Mombasa for her to get proper medical attention. Saida had been abducted on Thursday in Mombasa as she was on her way to buxtan to board a bus to Malindi. The abducters were said to have been three women and a man who were contacting the family using Saidas phone threatening them that they had killed the girl. It has been reported that such incidents are not rare at the coast as there is a syndicate that kidnaps pregnant women, induces them and steals their babies. Investigations on the matter are still on going on both fronts as the police have new leads on the case.
