Fitness Trends for 2019
1. Body Weight Training (0:19): Body weight training. Are body weight exercises great? YES. Pull-ups, Push-ups, Planks, Lunges. We all know this, is this really a trend?
2. Employing Fitness Professionals (2:12): I was once a commercial gym trainer…. bet you didn’t know that
3. YOGA (5:44): Is yoga an actual trend of 2019? hasn’t everybody been doing yoga?
4. Functional Fitness (6:49): Functional Fitness. What is it? is it made up? is it a scam? Does it work? What is functional for you you may not be functional for me.
5. Exercise As Medicine (9:00) probably the only thing that is a trend on this list. How does people use exercise in their daily routines to feel better?
The Momma’s Boys Podcast: Omar Isuf & Mike Farr
The idea is to have authentic, insightful, and usually hilariously inappropriate conversations with friends, content creators, & a variety of interesting guests. Topics with hosts Omar Isuf & Silent Mike (Farr) can range from music and movies, to why crepes are highly overrated. Hey; we never said they were always right.

50% Facts Podcast: Jim McDonald & Mike Farr
Most of us walk around knowing about HALF of what we think we know. On this show, we take a single, granular question on a particular topic (related to health, fitness, nutrition, mental health, sex, etc.) and try to list what we THINK the answer involves. THEN, we bring in a subject-matter expert to tell us what we got right and what we got wrong. We walk away with a better sense of the facts…and so do you. Hosted by Mike Farr and Jim McDonald.
