Doctors treating the MP for Kyaddondo East Robert Kyagulanyi are carrying out tests to determine the injuries on his liver and kidney and prepare a report on the status of his health. Kyagulanyi was admitted to Lubaga Hospital on Monday following his release on bail.

He and 32 other people were arrested in Arua district earlier this month on allegations that they attacked one of the vehicles in President Museveni’s convoy.

One of his lawyers Asuman Basalirwa says the MP’s condition is fragile and visitors have been restricted.
