NBC medical contributor Dr. Vin Gupta tells TODAY that it’s possible presidential adviser Hope Hicks could have had a false negative on a COVID test on Tuesday before showing symptoms of the virus on Wednesday. He says he’s “worried” about the president’s health in light of the fact that Trump is 74 years old and is overweight. He says “extreme vigilance” is warranted about signs that the president may require hospitalization.
